How to cover
a book properly
For books
with a very soft cover, we can add non-adhesive plastic covers, a little bit
thick in order to give it stiffness and to protect it from possible damage. If
the plastic is not thick enough, it will not comply with its function and it
will feel unpleasant to the touch with the heat. We have to avoid the adhesive
tape that fastens the cover to touch the book.
For those
with a hard cover we can use paper, preferably without ink in order to prevent
from getting ink stains on the book or our hands. This way we will be able to
use this space to take notes on the work.
We can
reutilize the covers for other books, or as drafts (the ones made out of
paper).
