The 21st of March, CP/RAC was visited by representatives from the Turkish Ministry of Environtment and Housing. The visit is part of the Twinning Programme, from the EU. This programme is based on the collaboration between one country already member from the EU and an applicant country to develop efficient and modern administration. In this case, the two countries are Spain and Turkey.
In the meeting was useful to discuss about the implementation of the IPPC Directive (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control). CP/RAC explained to participant its work in different Mediterranean Countries, especially through the BAT4MED Project, and answered to the questions about the project. Nevertheless, CP/RAC presented all other activities that are being carried out currently by the Centre.
