SCP/RAC is looking for a Project Manager, Dissemination and Knowledge Transfer for its project JUST2CE with experience in coordination and management of international cooperation projects funded by the EU.
The JUST2CE project was launched in September 2021. It aims at understanding, in a critical and thoughtful way, under which conditions a responsible, inclusive and socially just transition to a circular economy is possible and desirable, what technical, geopolitical and social factors can enable or hamper such transformation and how these aspects can contribute to the development of transitional policy measures.
The selected person will be responsible of the implementation of the project. The main tasks are as follows:
- Plan and coordinate the actions of the project in line with the strategies designed by the Direction Committee of the project and ensure supervision and assistance to the members of the team, consultants and partner organizations.
- Follow up the progress of the implementation of the project and key events, according to the work plan, including monitoring financial resources.
- Mobilize and acquire goods and services to support the project, including the preparation and management of service contracts.
- Manage and supervise the risks as identified and plan possible mitigation measures.
- Manage the coordination with the project partners and the donor as well as meetings for the management of the projects.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange and support the partners in developing activities.
- Summarize scientific knowledge developed by the project to provide it to the policy decision-makers.
- Assist the project communication manager and ensure the smooth implementation of the Dissemination and Exploitation plan of the project.
- In collaboration with the communication manager, ensure the partner’s coordination for matters related to communication, dissemination and exploitation of the project impacts.
- Support the development of communication tools and materials.
- Support the administrative management of the project and prepare reports of financial and technical progress.
