Success of the Workshop on Management of the water footprint and sustainable production in Almeria

The conference was organized by CP/RAC in collaboration with the Biosphere Reserve Cabo de Gata - Nijar, within the framework of the project activities Singular Best Practices project Production Activities CAMP Levante de Almeria.
 
These workshops were organized in two sessions:

• exploring the benefits of the use of best practices in the industry, explore ways to beat the market, anticipate new threats or anticipated changes in consumer applications that could jeopardize the industry, revealing methodologies to solve them as calculate the water footprint.

• show the advantages of organic production and make a farm tour of organic products in the area.

They involved technical cooperatives and marketing of horticultural products, responsible for irrigation communities, responsible for leading companies in the agricultural and farming sector.
