The Regional Activity Centre for Cleaner Production (CP/RAC) and MEDPOL with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia-Herzegovina (MoFTER) organized on September 23rd to 26th, 2013, a PCB (Polychlorinated biphenyls) management training program in Mostar (Bosnia-Herzegovina), under the subcomponent 2.3 of the Strategic Partnership for the Mediterranean Sea Large Marine Ecosystem (MedPartnership) www.themedpartnership.org.
The training program attendees included governmental staff, employees and representatives of different environmental departments of the Federation of Bosnia, Republika of Srpska and Brcko District, Federal Ministry of agriculture, water management and forestry, Federal ministry of energy, mining and industry, Brcko District Department of Health, Environmental protection and energy efficiency fund of the Republika of Srpska, Railways of the Federation of B&H, Federal ministry of environment and tourism, electricity generation and distribution companies, waste management companies, PSH Power Plant, etc. The planning of the workshop was a 2-days theoretical training on PCB management with about 50 participants and a 2-days practical training with a PCB analyzer use conducted in PSH Power Plant “Capljina” in Svitava for 25 participants.
