Be ready, SwitchMed Connect 2021 is about to kick off!
Organized on 19-20 October, the flagship event of the SwitchMed programme will be hybrid this year, taking place both in Barcelona and online. The event will conclude with the ceremony of the WeMed Award, the Mediterranean Sustainability Award hosted by SCP/RAC, and one of the flagship initiatives of the UNEP/MAP

Sustainable finance: answer this survey to help us identify the barriers and enabling conditions to sustainable investments
Finance is key to achieve a transition to sustainable business models and contribute to economic, social and environmental sustainability. In that respect, SCP/RAC is launching a survey to assess the perspective of Mediterranean investors and relevant stakeholders.

SCP/RAC is welcoming JUST2CE, a new EU-funded project aiming at understanding the transition to a circular economy and its implications on the environment, economy and society. At this occasion, the centre is opening a part-time position and is looking for a communications professional with a university degree or equivalent in communication, marketing or other discipline or equivalent experience in a communication position.

SCP/RAC is looking for a project manager (in lieu of maternity leave) to be responsible of the correct implementation of the EU-funded STAND Up! project (Sustainable Textile Action for Networking and Development of circular economy business ventures in the Mediterranean) which objective is to enhance scalable, replicable and inclusive circular economy ventures in the Mediterranean by developing an ecosystem of business support, innovation, and technology transfer that will lead to sustainable job creation for youth and women.

The Regional Activity Centre for Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP/RAC) is seeking a national expert/consultancy based in Tunisia with knowledge of chemicals management to provide technical assistance on the implementation of prevention approaches for 3 new POPs (PFAs, HBCD, SCCP).
